About I come thirsty

Inspired by the words:

"Let us draw near to God with a sincere heart

and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts

sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies

washed with pure waterthirsty."

(Heb 10:22)

"On the last and greatest day of the festival, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice,

Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said,

rivers of living water will flow from within them.

(Jn 7:37-38)

"I have set the Lord always before me; because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. Therefore my heart is glad and my glory rejoiceth; my flesh also shall dwell in safety."

(Ps 16:8-9)

"Pleasant words as a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and health to the bones."

(Prov 16:24)

The life of this world cannot satisfy us for long. We need to know God, we need to know Jesus. Jesus' offer of John 7:37 still stands and He offers us Himself – believe in Him and quench our spiritual thirst.

John 4:14 (to the woman at the well:) "But whosever drinketh

of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water

that I shall give him shall be a well of water springing up into

everlasting life."
